Painted across three narrow canvases this acrylic is a picture I have seen over the Internet several times and couldn't help trying to capture it.

The wild flowers and grasses in the Fields where I take my dog Charlie for a walk are particularly attractive at the moment so I couldn't resist taking some photos and some samples back home to paint it wasn't until after I had painted this that I realised this is the first painting that is entirely my own composition, It's acrylic on canvas and I Hope to do more in this style

Edwin Cripps and Me combined effort

This snow scene in acrylic was done in a workshop with Edwin Cripps to be true Edwin did all of the sky and the trees to the left but the rest is mine loved doing the workshop

Azalea


I don't paint many flowers but this was inspired by the Azalea we had growing in our garden it's in acrylic and was started during our Wednesday painting sessions at Runnymede Art Society and completed at home

Glass again in acrylic on a black background


This Acrylic on canvas reminds me of summer I love trying to paint glass esspecially on a black background

Tropical Seas

This one is Acrylic and I used the texture paste as shown to us at the workshop with Dee Cowell
I used it on the rocks tree trunks palm leaves and the waves not an over kill then! I like the effect but I think you have to be careful not to make it too thick and getting the hang of putting it on with the palette knife is tricky
